Mark & Lynnette Beha     Missionaries to Malawi

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

December 2007
Greetings to all our supporters,
This will be our last report for this year. We hope and pray that everyone has been able
to find the strength they have needed through 2007 > Let us therefore come boldly unto
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
(Hebrews 4:16).
I would ask everyone to send us an email address so I can update you as things
happen. Over 100 of you receive an update or several between letters. The closer we get
to the field the more important this will become. It is faster and easier for me to send out
prayer request and praises through email than it takes to mail them to everyone. Please
give us someone that you would consider a contact person for your church that will pass
on updates to the congregation. You may use: prayer_letter_request@2ndccn.com to
reach someone in the states or my own email address at: 2ndccn@2ndccn.com.
First: Lynnette’s blood work came back from when she had amnesia and she had 2 out
of the 6 strains of the Coxsackie B virus. She has almost completely recovered and
Joshua so far shows no signs of any adverse effect form the virus. Please keep praying
for both of their health.
Second: I had surgery on my neck. They removed 7 disc and fused my neck at 9 levels.
They then inserted a plate in the front and two non-flexible rods in the back, one on each
side of my neck. This required three operations in the same day and surgery lasted 12
hours. I have only one month left in the neck brace (total of 3 months and the surgery was
November 6th). I cannot put into words how much better I feel. I rarely mentioned how bad
my back and neck have been over the years but to give you a little insight, when the disc
completely deteriorated in 2002 the weight of my head put pressure on my nerves that
affected my breathing. I have not able to take a deep breath since then. That is until now.
The surgery has taken the pressure off my neck so I can breath full breaths again >
PRAISE GOD. I don’t have room to go into all the details of every thing but I would say
that around 98% of the problems that I had with the upper part of my body have been
fixed. It was well worth any discomfort / inconvenience the surgery caused. I won’t know
how much I have gained concerning the bulged disc and the scoliosis in the base of my
back until all of the swelling has gone and I have completely healed from this surgery.
Please keep praying for a quick recovery.
Third: My testimony booklet is scheduled for print in the next week. The end of year
rush has put the project behind some in our timing but not in His. Pray that the Lord can
use it in a mighty way and not just for inmates and drug addicts.
Fourth: God has blessed our support in spite of my time out for healing. I believe that
we have had three new churches and a business take us on since my last prayer letter.
We have also been told that another church was going to increase our support level. God
has been showing me that He doesn’t need me to get things done. We have been faithful
in serving Christ while we could and He blessed and carried us when we couldn’t. Praise
God for His faithfulness > Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. (1
Thessalonians 5:24).
Fifth and finally, I would like to thank those of you that prayed for my schooling. In the
end of September I received my Master’s degree and in October I started my Doctorate.
Please pray for God’s strength in my pursuit of biblical understanding. Until next time: ...
run, that ye may obtain. (1 Corinthians 9:24)

Yours in Christ,
Mark & Lynnette Beha
