-In 1965 Dr. Joseph Robert founded Independent Fundamental Baptist
Churches of India for the difficult task to evangelizing and training up young
people and set up fundamental Baptist churches. FBCI was renamed "Gospel to
Asia Ministries International Inc.", in the 2002 with a vision to spread the
Gospel not only to India, but also to the Asian countries which are close to the
land of India.
The Indian government gave all the necessary legal permission to run this
organization without any troubles. 80 G, 12 - A Income Tax exemptions and
FCRA Number (Foreign Contribution Regulation Authority) are also issued from
the ministry of external affairs,New Delhi. by the name and style Independent
Fundamental Baptist Churches of India. The Lord blessed his faithful Ministry
fruitfully and many souls are saved regularly in different Ministries which are
carried by Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches of India.
Gospel To Asia Ministries International Inc, a committed to the Christian faith
with an unstilted evangelical persuasion. This organization is indigenous and
independent and does not come under the administrative purview of any
organization abroad. It is governed locally by a Board of governors consisting
of a president, a vice president, and a secretary, treasurer and several members
(completely a local church ministry).
We have dedicated evangelists, depending upon the Lord, visiting villages, tribal
areas, prisons, reaching patients of leprosy, preaching the gospel to man
Hindus, Muslims, and non-Christians. While we were visiting tribal areas, we
were threshing the bushes and were attached by wild animals. The Lord saved
our lives from all these dangers, according to his promise, "Lo, I am with you
always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matt. 28:20).
The dedicated group of young people under the leadership of Dr. G. Paul Victor
go out twice a week to evangelize in the city and in the neighbouring villages,
distributing gospel literature visiting the sick in the hospitals and doing personal
evangelism. GAMI has established over 100 independent fundamental Baptist
churches throughout the country, covering over 100 villages. These churches
are headed by Indian national pastors. In addition, there is a Gospel campaign
every year to some distant place for a week or ten days, when we are able to
concentrate on a city and it's suburbs. We praise God for the thousands who
have had the opportunity to hear the gospel through these campaigns. There
are other meetings around the year in order to strengthen the faith of the
believers.
We are living in days of confusion and compromise in regard to the Christian
testimony. There is a need today for the church of Jesus Christ to return to the
authority of the Bible as God's inherent and infallible Word and the simplicity of
the Gospel preached by the apostles. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the
life. Without Him, people are lost. We are commissioned to preach the Gospel
and to teach the all things whatsoever. He commanded us. This, under God, is
the mission of Gospel to Asia Ministries International Inc.
This ministry is being carried on by God's grace and by a group of dedicated
men under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Robert and Dr. Paul Victor. It is
supported by the prayer and offerings of the Lords people abroad. We have no
guaranteed source of income. We constantly look to the Lord to meet the
needs of this growing ministry. It is indeed our God given privilege and
responsibility to give the cause of the Gospel for the eternal welfare of people.
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." (2 Cor. 9:7). If the
