April 2007

Praise the Lord. For those of you that didn’t know our transmission went out when we
were in Alabama. We waited for nine days for another one to be installed. Praise the
Lord for His people that were willing to give. We were able to get back on the road with
only having to reschedule two meetings, and we have already had one of them.
We have had several good meetings this month. We were at five different churches in six
days and that allowed us to make up for any lost finances this month. We still have four
meetings left this month, two in KY one in TN and then we go to VT to finish up.
Next month we have several meetings scheduled in Canada. It appears I will be traveling
alone. Lynnette has to have some dental work done and her OB said it has to be done
as soon as possible. You see she had some dental work done several years ago and
the dentist didn’t grind out her teeth very well before he filled them. The problem was
discovered in 2005 by x-rays but we could not afford to do much about it. When we were
in Mexico we had two crowns done but there are still four more to do. What the OB told
us is that when a women has an infection the enzymes created to fight off the infection
can cause the woman’s water to break early. If you remember Samuel came 7 ½ weeks
early last year. He also added that one of the infections most overlooked were the teeth.
The crowns will run $825.00 each. We have scheduled to have the crowns done while I
am in Canada so Lynnette and Samuel will probably come off the road for about two and
one half months while I finish up. I don’t think she and Samuel will be able to catch up
with me on the road. We will try to meet up in Montana only if our air miles can cover the
majority of the cost. I have never thought it was in the best interest of the family for
missionaries to be on the road alone. I don’t see any other way to wrap up our
deputation, fulfill our meetings obligation, serve our supporting churches best interest
and get back in time to have the baby at home and start packing to leave for the field in
the spring.
We also have a report on our next child. The doctor says it will be a boy. Lynnette is now
19 weeks along. We plan on naming him Joshua Jesse Beha. Samuel was running a 102
degree temperature for about three days but is better now. We have also been told to
take Samuel to an eye doctor when we can. He may have a lazy eye. I have also noticed
that some times when I look at him from 5 to 6 feet away he looks cross eyed. I don’t
know if they are related. The doctor told us it is possibly due to his premature birth.
I ask for continual prayer on these matters along with support growth and the shipping
container cost. I should be able to give a better plan on our departure date and
projected cost in an upcoming letter.

Love in Christ,
Mark, Lynnette & Samuel Beha
