October 2006

Greetings in the name of the Lord,
I would like to thank all of our supporters for their much needed prayer and financial help.
The last couple of months have been blessed. God has been so good to us,  I could not
put everything in print.
A few weeks ago Pastor Lagoe and I talked about how much support we needed before
we could plan on leaving for the field. We came up with a minimum figure of ten more
churches at $50.00 a month. Since then we have been in contact with some of the
churches we had already presented our work to. As well as ones that we have presented
our work to recently.   The Lord has blessed us with five new churches that have said
that they would support us. So far two of them have ben able to follow through with their
commitment.
I have told some of the pastors that ask of our intended departure date that we would
plan to leave in March or April. Well, since then I have gotten price quotes from a
shipping company for our household goods and it was just under $11,000. The Lord has
already helped us bring that figure down some but we still need the Lord to open doors
for us to make that happen. Our plans are now aimed at the end of September of 2007.
Please pray for the Lord to help bring that to pass. I have talked to some missionaries
that told us it took them six months after they got their support to get their container
ready. There is a lot more to that than I expected but the Lord has much experience in
these things.
Lynnette and Samuel got their passports in the mail and they are continuing to get their
shots. Lynnette will get more next month again and should be finished in February. We
were told that Samuel should be able to finish next year by moving his eighteen month
shots up a few months. Please continue to pray.
While out in Ohio God allowed me to lead a man to Christ before many witnesses. Please
pray for a young man named Jim. The Lord has also blessed the preaching in the
churches. He has opened many doors for us as far as meetings and support are
concerned. Please continue to pray for upcoming meetings and our support level to raise
to the level we need.
Please keep Brother Gentry in your prayers.  He is in the States due to health problems.
Thank you.

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of
the LORD most high. Psalms 7:17

Yours in Christ,
