May 2006

Greetings in the name of the Lord. We are currently in Arizona. Lynnette had to fly here
on her own to meet me because she was on restriction by her doctor for a short time. I left
New York and stopped at Brother Gentry’s in Kentucky and spent the night there. I then
drove straight through to Yuma, Arizona. That is 31 ½ hours without sleep. It was such a
blessing to spend that time with God, alone in prayer. Believe me there was a lot of prayer
in that trip. Not only by myself but from many of you. I thank the Lord for your prayers.
God blessed us with a mission conference to start us off then nine more meetings, and I
will have one in Tennessee on the way back.  On Friday, April 28th, Pastor Scribner asked
me to do a devotional for a teen meeting he was having at the church. After we played
soccer and volley ball I gave a few scriptures and told part of my testimony and before the
evening was over two young girls asked Jesus to come into their life and save them.
On Saturday, April 29th, we were on our way to a meeting, and we had a blow out on the
right front tire traveling on Interstate 8. The Lord protected us again. After I pulled over to
the side of the highway, I got the lugs off, but when I tried to take the tire off, I found it was
rusted on. As we were on the phone to AAA, a man stopped by to see if he could help us
and the Lord recalled to mind a message I had preached about looking for opportunities to
witness for Christ when we are going through trials and tribulations. As a result after the
man helped me pry the wheel off my with a tool he had in his work truck I was given all the
time in the world to talk to him about Jesus Christ. When I was finished he stated that he
had never asked Jesus into his life but wanted to know that his sins were forgiven and that
he would be in Heaven with Him someday. Please pray for him and if anyone can help me
send any witnessing material to him in Portuguese please feel free. His name and address
is: Andreson Bianquini at 20655 Southerland Dam Rd., Romona, CA 92065.
I spent Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday at the auto repair shop getting things
fixed on the car. We were able to buy two new tires for the front Saturday night but there
was extensive damage from the blow out including plastic from the wheel well severing the
belt for the air conditioner and damaging the belt for the radiator fan. There were other
problems caused by the tire along with some things that just needed to be fixed. While I
was at the auto shop I was able to witness to a man about where his soul would spend
eternity for about 2-3 hours. It was such a blessing because several other people that
were waiting for their vehicles got to here about Jesus Christ without me talking directly to
them. The man was interested but stopped short of salvation. Please pray for Clyde
Bowles.
On May 4th,  I was allowed to give my testimony and preach at the Yuma Jail. About 34
inmates showed up for the service. At the end I asked if anyone wanted to know that their
sins were forgiven and that they had eternal life and 22 men raised their hands. God had
placed a man there that spoke English and Spanish. He led them in the sinners’ prayer in
English and then in Spanish. When it was over Pastor Scribner asked how many had just
received Jesus Christ for the first time and 5 raised their hands. You see the Charismatics
have convinced these men that they either lost their salvation or that they were never
saved in the first place. Pastor Scribner then spent several minutes telling them that they
only had to do it once and invited them back the next time he had a service. Please pray
for that jail and the many men that have been lied to about the love of God.
On May 5th, Pastor Scribner invited me to preach at the mission, and God opened more
hearts. I gave my testimony and preached again and afterwards three men came forward
and wanted to get saved. Only two followed with it. The other one said he was not ready.
The two that received Jesus Christ said it was the first time and praised God for sending
us with the gospel. I also asked if there was anyone that wanted to rededicate their life to
Jesus Christ and three men came forward and we prayed together, confessing our sins (1
John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.), forsaking them, and calling upon God’s eternal grace and
mercy to restore their fellowship with Him. The Lord has also blessed us with two more
supporting churches. I will add any additional praises and prayer requests in the next
letter. We have 6 more meetings and the women’s side of the jail but I wanted to get this
out to everyone. Just a reminder, I will be leaving for Malawi June 12th -24th. Please
continue to pray for us as we continue to strive to please our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Yours in Christ, Mark & Lynnette Beha
