What 2ndCCN Has Done For Me

2ndCCN has shown me what it is to serve the lost, and those who have strayed from God's flock. These
men and women have been cast away by this world. True, they have sinned, but we
all have. These
people need the Lord every bit as much as everyone else.
This ministry has challenged me to grow in my knowledge of God's Word. As inmates ask specific
questions about the struggles that they are facing on a daily basis, I am challenged to seek out what the
Bible has to say on that subject, and in turn, explain it to them with the Scriptures and practical life
application.
I've gotten a taste of how a missionary, or an evangelist reaches out to those they don't know with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's easy to witness to those we know, but another thing entirely to evangelize
those whom we've never met. What a blessing it is to receive those letters professing salvation, and
wanting to grow deeper in a life / walk with the Lord! I never tire of reading testimonies, and hearing the
praise of God rising up from the pages written by brothers and sisters, inside!
